1) RAILWAYS | Approximately 1,460 km of railways will be built in the Yucatan Peninsula that will interconnect the states of Tabasco, Campeche, Chiapas, Yucatan and Quintana Roo. |

2) ROLLING STOCK | It is planned to have a batch of approximately 75 traction trains Diesel-Electric that will circulate along the route to provide the service of cargo and passengers. The maximum velocity the material will reach passenger vehicle will be 160 km/hr and 120 km/hr for cargo. |
3) SIGNALING AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS | The operation of the trains will be carried out through a Control Center Operations (CCO) that will be located in the center of the train route (Merida). |

5) THE LAYOUT (TRAIN ROUTE) | The layout takes advantage of the existing right-of-way of the Istmo Railroad from Tehuantepec (FIT) between Palenque and Valladolid. From Valladolid in ahead takes advantage of the rights of way of various infrastructures such as roads, highways and transmission lines between others, in order to reduce the environmental impact generated by the project and reduce the cost of acquiring the new rights-of-way. |
